Cyberbullying is something we all have heard of, and many have experienced in some form or another. School districts should ensure that all students are in a safe environment on-and-offline and one way to achieve this would be to have teachers express the importance of positive feedback, rather than negative/hateful comments. Even if you disagree with what someone is saying, there is no reason to cyberbullying, and this should be the message teachers are sending to their students. If you take for example our class, students have to submit a weekly blog and respond to other students' posts within the week. In doing this, ED 230 is a great model for what a cohesive and positive setting looks and feels like. A lot of information can be shared and gathered by this process.
